Wildfire Ceramic Studio Residency Information

Wildfire Ceramic Studio's goal is to provide a professional and creative atmosphere for serious emerging artists to expand upon or create a body of work while providing professional experience in the art field.

WCS has 2 internship positions that include a Gallery Intern and a Social Media Intern.
​
WCS has 6 studio spaces. 5 full and 2 half split. Proposals for split spaces are welcome but not guaranteed.
Studio space includes:
worktable and shelving unit
10’ x 8’ studio space
Facilities:

Residents are required to purchase a yearly memebership at the Clay Studio of Missoula for $50.

Resident responsibilities include:
5 hours a week of studio work hours that include but not limited to gallery install and deinstall, a rotating First Friday shift, First Friday clean up, and studio clean up. Residents are expected to work on their own studio practice a minimum of 15 hrs a week.
Opportunities
Wildfire Ceramic Studio has been limiting its community outreach in an effort to keep the resident artists and community safe during COVID. WCS hopes to provide each resident artist with teaching opportunities in the future.
Resident artists also have the opportunity to have a solo exhibition at WCS’s gallery.
